My name is Kristiana Cloutier and I am from East Hampton, CT. I am a senior here at RWU pursuing a major in Psychology and a double minor in Criminal Justice & Educational Studies. From all of the classes and experiences that I have had here at RWU, some of my future careers, would be to work within the government such as being a victim advocate, jury consultant, behavior criminal analyst and others that are in that specific area.
On-campus, I am very active as the President of NRHH (National Residence Hall Honorary). I am also part of Psychology Club on campus. To add to that, I am a Career Peer Assistant here at the Center for Career and Professional Development. Another thing that I am currently involved in is an internship with the RI State Government. I also have previously interned with Child & Family in Middletown, RI. Through all these experiences it has shown me that I not only love to work and care for all people but it is a passion of mine.
Outside of the classroom and work, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the beach, watching Netflix, and trying new food restaurants. One of my favorite things that I have done while being in Bristol, RI is going on a spontaneous trip with my friends and we went to all of these new places that we never heard of! Lastly, if I am crazing something on campus, you will see me on campus at GHH with a chicken sandwich and iced chai latte from Starbucks!
For the past four years, I have been a part of the CPPD and I have gained so much experience and skills that I know will help me throughout my whole entire life! This experience is one that I will never regret and is one that I am so thankful that I was a part of!
My name is Courtney Caouette and I am an outdoor enthusiast from Lewiston, Maine. I am a senior undergraduate pursuing dual majors in English Literature and Educational Studies. I transferred to Roger Williams University during my Junior year from the University of Southern Maine. I have always loved learning effective teaching practices and I hope to pursue a career working with young children. Additionally, I have always been engaged in reading and writing which I may use in the future to gain experience in the publishing industry or journalism pathway.
On campus, I am actively involved in the performing arts department. Last year I was a member of the Dance Theater where I got the opportunity to be casted in Michael Bolger’s “The Nutcracker”. I was also a member of the dance club and got to participate in the dance showcase and other events. During this academic year, I have continued to be a member of Drastic Measures, an Acapella group on campus. We have performed at various campus events and for our University’s president. I am currently casted as Kalonike and an Athenian Ambassador in the RWU Theatre’s production of “Lysistrata”. I also write occasionally for the school newspaper, “The Hawk’s Herald”. I love meeting new people and exploring different ways to redefine my comfort zone through my involvement on campus.
Outside of the classroom, I love traveling, dancing, reading, camping, and all things Disney (minus the patriarchy, of course). I am most content and at peace with myself when spending time with family and friends. Any day that I get to be with my people or travel is a good day.
I am excited to be a part of Roger William University’s Center for Career & Professional Development. This is my second year as a Career Peer Assistant. I look forward to helping you!
My name is Gabriella Boretti and I am from East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. I am a sophomore pursuing a major in journalism and still deciding on my core concentration at the moment but leading towards graphic design. I am a die-hard lover of writing and enjoy design of any kind.
On-campus I am a part of the Hawks Herald and Society of Professional Journalists. Even though schoolwork can take up a lot of my extra time I still thrive to be a part of these meetings as much as I can. Back home I am a hostess at an italian restaurant and nanny for two amazing babies.
Outside of the classroom I thrive when I am shopping, listening to music and hanging out with friends. I also enjoy spending time writing and looking through Vogue Magazine, my dream job!
I am absolutely thrilled to have been a part of the Career and Center for Professional Development for two years now serving as an office assistant my first year and now a Career Peer Assistant my second year. Working within this office has taught me how to manage my time here at Roger Williams University and how to pursue my career, the right way.
My name is Alexis Riccardi and I am from Scituate, Massachusetts. I am a Sophomore pursuing a degree in Construction Management and a double-minor in Sustainability Studies and Business Management. I have always had a passion to build homes and commercial buildings and have recently become interested in the effects that sustainable building will have on our future environment through exciting courses at Roger Williams University.
On-campus, I am involved in several clubs. I am currently the Treasurer of the club All Paws In and am the forthcoming President for the 2021-2022 academic year. I am an active member of the Women in Construction club, the Construction Management club, and the Residential Construction club. I have previously interned with Barletta Engineering and Heavy Division in Boston, Massachusetts. I enjoy interacting and networking with other students pursuing a degree in Construction Management in order to enhance my communication, leadership, and management skills and also gain valuable information about the industry that I may not have learned through my courses.
Outside of the classroom and work, I enjoy staying active, being outdoors, listening to music, and traveling. I enjoy doing fun activities and having a good time with my friends and family. I also love spending time and playing with my three Corgis!
I am thrilled to be a part of the Center for Career and Professional Development team and enjoy helping and learning from other students. Please do not hesitate to reach out to myself or any of the other wonderful staff here at the RWU CCPD. We would love to help you achieve your future goals and be confident in the career you are pursuing!
I’m from the town of Windham, just outside of Portland, Maine. I am a senior here at RWU, pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree with a minor in Construction Management. I also plan on continuing my education at RWU to earn my Master’s degree in Architecture. I am always searching for ways to implement my creativity in technical aspects of my studies and my work with CCPD.
At RWU, I am involved in a few clubs within the architecture community, such as the Women’s Leadership Network and NOMAS (National Organization of Minority Architects Students). I also enjoy playing guitar at gigs for campus events with my friends.
During my time away from studies and work, I have many hobbies, which are mainly rooted in music and art. Like I mentioned before, I play guitar, and am currently experimenting with recording and mixing software. I love all music, from 1930s jazz to electronic, to metal. I also love drawing, painting, and collaging in my free time. I recently took up oil painting, which has quickly become my favorite medium.
It is fulfilling and great to be a career peer assistant here at RWU’s CCPD. Please reach out to us with any questions you may have. I look forward to working with you
