As a certified Career Services Provider and Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, she is dedicated to empowering students to discover their strengths and reach their full potential. Her commitment is reflected in the numerous accolades she has received, including Certified Master of Career Services (CMCS), Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP), Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), as well as a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach (GCSC).

Mary stands as an essential figure within both the Cummings School of Architecture (CSA) and the School of Engineering, Computing, and Construction Management (SECCM), shaping the career engagement development landscape and driving students to life success. Assisting students through intention direction and 1:1 interactions, Mary extends an enormous scope across academic programs within both schools. Mary is a faculty member in the School of Engineering, Computing, and Construction Management; she leads a Career Development course that is seamlessly integrated into the Engineering senior seminar. This innovative course goes beyond traditional lectures, immersing students in practical exercises and real-world scenarios, equipping them with the skills and knowledge crucial for navigating their job searches and thriving in their future professions.

At the forefront of bridging academia and industry, Mary supports various impactful programs that connect students with potential employers and refine their professional skills. In the Cummings School of Architecture, she assists in executing resume and portfolio review nights, job forums, and hiring events, providing students with invaluable networking opportunities. Additionally, Mary assists in coordinating mock interviews and firm crawls in major metropolitan areas, offering firsthand insights into diverse work environments and potential career paths.
