The VA is looking for college students to help out with a research program involving an exercise intervention in patients with Parkinson’s disease at the VA Medical Center in Jamaica Plain. The position entails working with patients to do outcome assessments (tests of physical function [e.g., MiniBESTest] and questionnaires) and to deliver the exercise intervention. All training will be provided. The position can be full time or part time for the fall or even more long-term. The work schedule is very flexible. The position is unpaid. This position offers clinical research experience for students interested in pursuing a clinical career (e.g., medical school). The VA is located on the E branch of the green line.
