The Latino Team at the Providence Center is looking for a case manager to work with a multi-disciplinary team which consists of case managers, substance abuse specialists, psych registered nurses, clinical therapist and a psychiatrist to coordinate services for consumers to minimize stressors, provide psychotherapy and to facilitate the reduction of psychiatric symptoms in an individual and/or group setting.

Reports To: Manager of Latino Team
One position available. The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week with an hour for lunch. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Weekends and Holidays off.
SUMMARY Coordinate services for consumers to minimize stressors to facilitate the reduction of psychiatric symptoms.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Services preferred. Experience in Human Services field with psychiatrically disabled population preferred.
Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents and follow procedures. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with consumers, employees, and individuals in the community. Fluency in Spanish/English (reading/writing/speaking).
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have valid driver’s license and insured auto.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of basic crisis intervention, counseling techniques, and case management techniques is preferred. Ability to act as an advocate for the needs of the Hispanic/Latino community is required.
