Overview:
Catalano Construction, Inc. an established Site Excavation & Utility Contractor seeks highly motivated and qualified candidates for a position as an Assistant Project Manager / Estimator for work across Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Responsibilities:
– Support for Project Managers as needed
– Managing and tracking of project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, schedules, and files
– LEED construction submittal documentation as required
– Ensuring current project documents for project team, subcontractors, and suppliers
– Managing Change Order Requests
– Maintain communication with superintendents, project foremen, general contractors, and clients
– Assist with closeout documentation for submission to general contractors and clients
– Developing relationships with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, general contractors, and project owners throughout project life cycle and beyond
– Assist Estimating Department with developing bid lists, ensuring current bid documents, quantity takeoffs, procuring vendor and supplier pricing
– Perform these duties on multiple projects simultaneously

– Familiarity with Procore Software
– Knowledge of industry safety standards
– Ability to read & understand contract drawings & specifications
– Valid Driver’s License
– Ability to pass a background check for clearance to government & state projects
Required Experience:
– A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
– LEED Certification preferred (required to obtain certification within 6 months of hire)
– Strong computer skills
