Internship: Business Development
Duration: 6 months
May Cabinets, Inc. is a multi-million-dollar custom woodworking company that is in need of a Business Development Intern. As the Business Development Intern, you will be working closely with the Vice President of Business Development and the Director of Marketing & Business Development to create and implement sales plans. You’ll be sitting in on weekly Sales meetings with the corporate executives to learn more about how Business Development impacts the entire company and you’ll be trained on how to lead meetings with potential customers. Be prepared to do a bit of traveling (nothing outside of driving distance) as you will be riding with the VP of Business Development to handle on-site customer issues.
We need someone who goes beyond “thinking outside the box” – you need to be the person who breaks down the box and expands our horizons! We welcome all new ideas and can’t wait to see what you come up with!
This position is a 6-month unpaid internship. At the end of the 6 month term, you will be provided with glowing letters of recommendation from the Director of Marketing & Business Development and from the Vice President of Business Development and, if your work has proven to be up to our standards and you are the “diamond in the rough” that proves to be invaluable to our company, a formal job offer will also be provided. Our offices are open Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. We will work around your school schedule within those hours. This is an on-site position. Dress code is business professional.
