The Science Alliance is a student-run organization at Roger Williams University that is sponsored by the department of chemistry and biology. The group is affiliated with the national American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and the national American Chemical Society and is interested in social, outreach, and research activities. The Science Alliance is an organization that coordinates annual trips to various scientific conferences, the ASBMB and ACS Annual Conferences, as well as plans various on-campus events to disseminate knowledge, learning, and awareness about applications of scientific knowledge. This organization offers students the opportunity to present their research projects and it brings together students interested in any aspect of science. We want to bring together all fields of science to enhance our scientific community, and to advance our students at RWU. We are defined as an academic club; however, we are a social club as well that was developed to provide an array of new scientific discoveries and opportunities to the RWU scientific community.
