Hawks Hired! Elizabeth Marston ’23

Hawks Hired highlights the accomplishments of RWU graduates as they finalize the next steps in their career journeys. Elizabeth is currently a Female Service Counselor with Spectrum Health Services at MCI-Framingham in MA. Read on to learn more about her next chapter since graduation.

What was your program of study at RWU? My major was Criminal Justice and I minored in Psychology.

Graduation year? I graduated in 2023.

Where is your next adventure? (Company/School and Role) As of September, I started working as a Female Service Counselor with Spectrum Health Services at MCI-Framingham.

What are you most looking forward to in this new role? Helping Incarcerated Individuals transition back into society through Pathways Programming.

What was the process like of landing this job/next opportunity? Actively looking on different job sites in the Criminal Justice Field.

Who helped you during your job search/graduate school process? I did all of the job searching on my own with the support of my friends and family.

What advice do you have to students who are in the process of finding a job/going to graduate school? To be open minded and don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.
