Typically, cover letters are 4-5 paragraphs long; each paragraph addressing a specific topic or areas of experience – the content itself introduces yourself to an employer, creates a match between the employer and you, and demonstrates ‘proof of performance’ or the narrative connection between the skills the employer is seeking and your experiences.
