My Next Move and the Occupational Information Network (O*Net) are interactive tools for students to learn more about career options, including tasks, skills, salary information and more. Here you will find video introductions to many occupations as well as information about job functions, required training, necessary skills, job outlook, and more. You can even take a Career Interest Profiler to identify possible career paths based on the type of work you like to do.

The Internship and Career Planning Seminar (CPS 101) is a zero-credit online course that covers a variety of topics to ensure students are prepared, confident, and skilled in their ability to showcase themselves professionally and better understand how to navigate the world of work. You can sign up for the course at any time via Roger Central. Whether you are trying to determine what career path is right for you or find out how to get a job in your chosen area, CPS can get you to the next stage of your career journey!

The Roger Connection is a tool that allows RWU students to network with RWU alums. The Roger Connection can also be a helpful tool for career exploration: use the search feature to find alums who have graduated from a similar major and identify what career paths they are pursuing.
