Welcome Employers!

Roger Williams University prepares students to engage with employers in a variety of industries and job functions to provide meaningful enriching opportunities. Engage with some of the best students Rhode Island has to offer. Join us in a variety of events from career fairs, on-campus interviews, information sessions, and more!

  • Career Fairs

Join us and recruit for your opportunities at one of our school-specific, industry-specific or all majors Internship & Career Fairs hosted throughout the academic year.

To see our upcoming fairs visit Handshake HERE.

  • On Campus Interviews

Post positions you are recruiting for on Handshake, then interview applicants you are potentially interested in.

This is a popular opportunity for Career Fair participants the days preceding our event. In-person space must be reserved and secured with our office in advance. Dates and times are subject to availability.

Handshake also provides you the opportunity to book, organize, select, review and even schedule candidates through their Interview Schedule tool HERE.

  • Mock Interviews

Volunteer to help our students practice and enhance their general interviewing skills. This program provides students the opportunity to engage with a campus partner for what may be their first-ever interview, to experience the interaction and help them prepare for when they have a real interview.

While this experience is not a recruiting event, many students have received internship and job opportunities by impressing their interviewer! This program is hosted twice per academic year and is always looking to add more volunteers.

  • Virtual Information Sessions

Share more about your organization, how you are looking to engage with RWU students and opportunities you may have available through a virtual information session.

These sessions will be posted on Handshake by you, hosted through a platform of your choice, on a day and time that works for you!

Students will have access to these events, see reminders they are happening when they login to their accounts, and register either directly through handshake or through your preferred registration system, allowing you to see how many students are interested. To post your virtual event visit Handshake HERE.

  • Posting Jobs & Internships

RWU’s career platform, Handshake, advertises jobs and internship opportunities to our students. Students can browse these opportunities, review application instructions, and apply directly through the database, or through your preferred site with an external link.

To post your Jobs or Internships in Handshake, click on Signup for an Account > Employer. If you are already registered with Handshake you can simply add our school to your job postings. Many resources are available on Handshake’s Employer Info page to help you build your profile or post an internship or job.
