John Jay Society is a student-run organization put in place to further students’ understanding and appreciation of the field of justice studies. We strive to foster an academic and social learning environment that promotes practical applications of skills and knowledge for justice studies students and anyone else who wishes to attend.
Goals:
-Help prepare members for futures in the field of justice studies
-Expose members to different experiences which can aid them in making post-graduation decisions
-Promote opportunities for students to listen, meet, and connect with professionals in the field of justice studies
-Sponsor events and demonstrations that inform the campus community about justice studies topics
-Make available to students any information about career or internship opportunities applicable to them
-Make the club a forum for students to discuss and learn about justice studies topics that interest them
